¹³  And Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance.

¹⁴  Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he wholly followed Jehovah the God of Israel.

¹⁵  Now the name of Hebron before was Kirjath-Arba; the great man among the Anakim. And the land rested from war.
